When standard options will not do

Bespoke Stickers specified around an unusual brief

Some sticker jobs do not fit a drop-down menu. An odd-shaped product, a surface that resists adhesion, a sticker that must be removable, a mixed set of materials or a design with holographic accents all need a conversation first. Bespoke stickers start with your brief, and we work out the specification before a quote is prepared.

Bespoke sticker guide

How a bespoke sticker brief comes together

A bespoke order works best when you describe the problem rather than guess the solution. Tell us what the sticker must do, and the specification follows from there.

Why choose bespoke stickers?

Standard sticker options cover most everyday jobs, but they assume a flat surface, a normal environment and a single material. When your project breaks one of those assumptions, a bespoke specification avoids stickers that peel, fade early or simply look wrong.

Bespoke also suits projects where the sticker is the product. Artists’ limited editions, premium packaging seals and presentation pieces often call for combinations of finish and cut that are worth planning individually.

Most importantly, it gives you a chance to ask questions. Talking the job through before ordering is far less costly in time and stock than discovering a problem once the stickers arrive.

Typical bespoke sticker projects

Bespoke briefs we are asked about include:

  • Awkward surfaces – textured plastics, powder-coated metal or tightly curved bottles.
  • Unusual formats – very large single stickers or intricate multi-part cuts.
  • Mixed finishes – holographic, foil or domed details within one design.
  • Temporary applications – stickers that need to peel cleanly from glass or walls.
  • Presentation pieces – limited-run stickers for launches, awards or gifts.

Materials, shapes and sizes to discuss

Our options include white, clear and metallic vinyl, paper, holographic and foil films, reflective and fluorescent materials, static cling, gloss and matte finishes and laminates. A bespoke brief is often about choosing the right combination rather than an exotic new material.

Shape is rarely a limitation. We can cut to the outline of your artwork, add internal cut-outs, or produce a set of shapes on one sticker sheet. Very fine protrusions may need thickening so they survive peeling.

Size should follow the surface and viewing distance. Send a photo or measurements of where the sticker will go, and include any curves or edges it needs to clear.

Writing a brief that gets the right result

Start with the surface: what it is made of, whether it is curved, and how clean and smooth it is. Then describe the environment, such as indoors or outdoors, exposure to water, heat, chemicals or frequent handling.

Next, explain how long the sticker needs to stay in place and whether it must come off cleanly afterwards. Removable and long-term adhesives behave very differently, so this detail changes the whole specification.

Finally, describe the look you want and share any reference images. If you are not sure something is possible, ask anyway; we would rather advise you early through the quotation form than print something unsuitable.

How bespoke stickers serve your project

A sticker specified for its real conditions performs as intended, which protects your brand. Peeling product labels or faded outdoor signage reflect on the business behind them far more than on the printer.

Bespoke work also lets a small detail become memorable. A carefully chosen finish or shape can make a product seal or giveaway sticker feel genuinely distinctive.

FAQs

Bespoke Sticker questions, answered

What counts as a bespoke sticker?

Any sticker where the surface, environment, material combination or cut goes beyond a standard choice. If you are unsure, describe the job and we will tell you how to approach it.

What information should I include in my brief?

The surface material and shape, where the sticker will be used, what it must withstand, how long it needs to stay on, whether it must remove cleanly, the size, the quantity and any artwork or references.

Can you print stickers for textured or curved surfaces?

Some textured and curved surfaces can take stickers with the right material and size, while others resist adhesion. Send photos and details and we will advise before quoting.

Can one sticker combine different finishes?

Some finish combinations are possible, such as a holographic or foil area within a design. Ask us about your specific idea and we will explain the options.

Will you say so if my idea is unsuitable?

Yes. If a material, adhesive or cut is not suitable for your brief, we will say so and suggest an alternative where one exists.

Do I need finished artwork before contacting you?

No. You can start with a description, a sketch or reference images. Final artwork should be CMYK at 300 DPI or vector, and we review it free of charge.

How long does a bespoke order take?

Allow time to agree the specification first. After that, production takes 10–12 working days from proof approval, followed by delivery.
