Accessibility Stickers clear signs for accessible spaces
Accessibility stickers help visitors find step-free entrances, accessible toilets, hearing loops, lifts, quiet spaces and assistance points. We print your own designs and symbols as high-contrast vinyl stickers for doors, glass, walls and counters, so shops, offices, venues and community buildings can show clearly what access is available.

An access sticker only helps if it can be seen and understood by the people who need it, so contrast, size, height and plain wording matter more than decoration.
Why choose custom accessibility stickers?
Many disabled people plan visits around information about access, and clear on-site signage makes that planning easier. A visible sticker at the entrance saves someone from guessing whether there is a ramp, a lift or an accessible toilet inside.
Custom printing allows the sticker to match your building exactly. You can point to the correct entrance, add arrows, include your own wording and use colours that contrast with your particular doors and walls.
Stock signs rarely cover everything a venue offers. With your own design you can highlight hearing loops, quiet rooms, water bowls for assistance dogs or a bell to ring for help – whatever actually applies on your premises.
Popular uses for accessibility stickers
Accessibility stickers are used to mark:
- Entrances – showing step-free or alternative access routes.
- Toilets – marking accessible and baby-changing facilities.
- Hearing loops – indicating where a loop system is installed at counters.
- Assistance points – a bell or call point for help with access.
- Lifts and routes – arrows and symbols guiding people to lifts and ramps.
- Quiet spaces – signage for calm rooms or sensory-friendly areas.
Materials, shapes and sizes
Most accessibility stickers are printed on white or coloured vinyl with a matte laminate. Matte finishes reduce glare from lighting and sunshine, which helps people with visual impairments read the sign.
For glazed entrances, glass door stickers can carry access information while also making the glass more visible. Printing for inside or outside application depends on which way the sign needs to face.
Please note that our stickers are flat printed vinyl. If your signage needs tactile features or Braille, you will need a specialist sign maker for those elements, although our stickers can complement them elsewhere in the building.
Legibility, placement and guidance
Strong colour contrast between the symbol, the text and the background is the single most useful design decision. Plain, sans-serif lettering in sentence case is easier to read than decorative or all-capital text.
Place stickers where people naturally look: at a consistent height, close to the door handle or the facility itself, and not obscured by open doors, posters or furniture. Think about the eye level of wheelchair users as well as standing height.
Signage expectations vary by building type and use. You are responsible for checking current guidance relevant to your premises and deciding which symbols and wording to use; we print the design you approve.
How accessibility stickers help your organisation
Clear access signage tells visitors that you have thought about their needs. That reassurance can turn a stressful first visit into an easy one, and it encourages people to return.
It also helps your staff. When facilities are clearly marked, fewer visitors need to ask for directions, and staff can focus on helping those who need more support.
For event organisers, floor stickers and door signs make it simple to mark accessible routes, viewing areas and toilets at venues that change layout from event to event.

Accessibility Stickers questions, answered
Do your accessibility stickers meet building regulations?
We print the design you approve and cannot confirm that any sign meets a particular regulation or standard. Please check current guidance for your premises and decide on the symbols and wording before ordering.
Can you print tactile or Braille signs?
No. Our stickers are flat printed vinyl. For tactile lettering or Braille, use a specialist sign maker; our stickers can still cover other signage around the building.
Which finish is easier to read?
Matte laminate is generally easier to read under bright lights or daylight because it reduces reflections. Gloss can cause glare that makes symbols harder to see.
Can I use the wheelchair symbol on my stickers?
Access symbols are widely used on signage, and we can print them as part of your artwork. Make sure the symbol you choose is appropriate for the facility you are marking.
What height should accessibility stickers be placed at?
Place them where both standing visitors and wheelchair users can see them, close to the feature they describe. For specific mounting heights, refer to current guidance for your type of building.
Can you print stickers for a temporary event venue?
Yes. For glass, static clings can be removed without adhesive; for other surfaces, tell us how long the stickers need to stay up and we will suggest a suitable material.
How long does an accessibility sticker order take?
Once your PDF proof is approved, production takes 10–12 working days, followed by delivery to your UK premises.
