Getting your company logo ready for stickers

Most problems with logo stickers come from the file rather than the printing. A few checks before ordering make the difference between a crisp sticker and a fuzzy one.

Why businesses order logo stickers

A logo is only valuable if people see it. Stickers put your company mark on the physical things customers handle, from delivery boxes and carrier bags to the till, the van and the invoice envelope.

They are one of the simplest ways for a small business to look established. A consistent, well-printed logo on everything you hand over signals care and attention to detail.

Logo stickers are also practical for internal use, marking company laptops, tools and equipment so they are identifiable and less likely to wander.

How businesses use their logo stickers

Company logo stickers turn up in all sorts of places:

  • Packaging – branding plain boxes, bags and mailers.
  • Shop counters and tills – a neat mark on point-of-sale equipment.
  • Company equipment – laptops, tablets and toolboxes identified at a glance.
  • Vehicles – smaller logo decals on doors and rear windows.
  • Promotional giveaways – stickers handed out at shows and open days.
  • Office and reception – branded glass doors and display items.

Materials, shapes and sizes for company logos

White vinyl is the dependable default for logo stickers, giving strong colours and good resistance to handling. Clear vinyl makes a logo look applied directly to glass or a coloured surface, and paper suits short-term packaging seals.

The shape of your logo guides the cut. Compact, square-ish marks sit well in a circle or rectangle, whereas wide wordmarks or icons with a distinctive outline often look better contour cut with a small border.

Choose size by where the sticker goes and how far away it will be read. A seal on a box might be 40–50 mm across, while a logo on a van door or shop window needs to be much larger.

Preparing your logo file for print

Vector files, usually saved as AI, EPS, SVG or PDF, are ideal because they scale to any size without blurring. A logo copied from a website or social media profile is usually too low in resolution for print.

If you only have a raster image, it needs to be at least 300 DPI at the finished sticker size. Convert text to outlines where possible, and set colours in CMYK so the proof reflects what will be printed.

Check fine details too. Very thin lines, tiny taglines and small registered marks can disappear at sticker sizes, so a simplified version of your logo may work better on small seals.

How logo stickers build your business identity

Customers remember businesses that look the same every time they meet them. A logo sticker on the parcel, the receipt envelope and the product itself creates that repeated, consistent contact.

Stickers also carry your identity into other people’s spaces, whether that is a laptop lid at a café table or a toolbox on a building site, putting your name in front of potential customers without any extra effort.

FAQs

Business Logo Stickers questions, answered

What if I only have a JPEG of my logo?

Send it and we will check it. If the resolution is too low for the size you want, we will explain the issue so you can find a better file, often from whoever originally designed your logo.

Can my logo be cut to its exact outline?

Yes. Contour cutting follows the shape of your logo, usually with a slim border to keep edges clean. Very intricate outlines may need a slightly wider border.

What size should business logo stickers be?

It depends on the surface. Packaging seals are often 40–60 mm across, laptop stickers a little larger, and vehicle or window logos much bigger. Tell us where they will go and we will suggest a size.

Can you print a white logo on clear vinyl?

Tell us that you want a white or light-coloured logo on clear film and we will advise on the options, as light colours on clear material need special handling to stay visible.

Are logo stickers suitable for vans?

Vinyl logo stickers suit vehicle use, and lamination adds protection. Long exposure to strong sunlight can fade any print over time, so tell us how the vehicle is used.

Can I order my logo in several sizes?

Yes. Many businesses order small seals, medium stickers and larger decals together. List the sizes and quantities and we will quote them as one order.

How long will it take to receive my logo stickers?

Once your logo proof is approved, printing and finishing take 10–12 working days, and we then send the order to your business address.
